Monthly Digest: December 2019

December in GAUGN was full of important and interesting events.

Firstly our University announced the start of training for scientific and pedagogical workers and employees of employing organizations on additional educational programs for continuing education through budget funding.

Students and graduate students of GAUGN during a special training learned to find a way out of crisis situations and confront information wars.

On December 19, a lecture was be held by the famous historian, professor of the University of Montreal, Michael Jabar Carly. As part of the lecture, he will present his monograph Secret War. West vs Russia. 1917-1930 ”, published with the support of the History of the Fatherland Foundation in 2019.

On December 23, GAUGN students attended a lecture by an oriental scientist, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Maxim Grachev, “Inheritance of the throne in Japan in the past and present: ceremonies, symbolism and mythology of power (in the context of rituals of accession to the throne)”.

The elections for the post of Chairman of the Student Union of GAUGN also started.

On December 31, the rector of GAUGN Denis Fomin-Nilov wished everyone a Happy New Year.
