Due to the summer session, there were not many events this month, anyway here there are.

One of the big events that we didn't mention last time: on April 28 the music festival "GAUGNMUSFEST" took place in the "STEPS" club.

The students from eight universities performed on the stage in the genres that varied from academic solo singing to punk rock. The highlight of the evening was a performance from the dance group GAUGN Dancing.

Within the project "Laboratory of Archeology of Medieval Studies: From Fieldwork to Scientific Reconstruction of the Past on the Materials of the Monuments of Suzdal Opolje", second-year students of the Faculty of History and first-year bachelors of  "Archeology" program, took part in identifying new monuments of medieval archeology in Suzdal Opole and studying the ones that are already known.

Working in a small team, guided by the specialists in this regions archeology, the staff of the IA RAS and GIM, acquaintance with a wide range of medieval antiquities, collected with the direct participation of students - helps to understand more deeply the lecture material, delivered during the project.

On May 16 a master class on working with social media "Managing Reputation in Social Networks: Typical Mistakes and Traps" was held within the series of scientific and educational lectures "Time to think". The speaker, co-founder and commercial director of the digital-agency "Interium", Alexei Astafyev, a GAUGN 2009 graduate, told about the fundamentals of reputation management in social networks. He studied out several interesting and fun cases of reputation management.

On May 20, the GAUGN League held the final game "What? Where? When? " of the season 2017-2018.

On May 31 the conference "GAUGN talks" was held. For two hours, 46 speakers talked about self-analysis, the difficulties of adolescents, bilingualism, the political situation in Europe, travel and other topics.
