Monthly digest: February

There were not so many events in February, but some of them were big.

The Faculty of Law continued a series of meetings with graduates of the faculty. On February 21, Olga Shevardenidze, head of the legal department, member of the board of directors of Procter & Gamble in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, held a lecture on "In-house lawyer in FMCG business".

On February 25, a meeting was held at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the co-operation of the Eastern Faculty of the GAUGN, the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Moscow State University of Psychology and Pedagogy in the context of preparing the master's program "Eastern Psychology: Ethnicity, Religion and Intercultural Communication" to develop cooperation -educational centers of oriental studies.

On February 24 GAUGN is 25 years old. The celebration of the anniversary of GAUGN will be held throughout 2019 in various formats.
On February 28, an official event at the Central House of Scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences opened a series of anniversary events. The anniversary was attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Russian Federal Property Fund and academicians of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The premiere of the documentary “GAUGN. Mens agitat molem” and a colorful sand show was demonstrated. At the anniversary awarded teachers, staff and students who have made significant contributions to the history of GAUGN. During the evening, students from the GAUGN Music Club and the GAUGN dancing club performed on stage.
